HOMEMADE MACAROONS WITH RECIPE
I got the first taste of Macaroon in a restaurant in the 1st district of Ho Chi Minh City. It was lunch time, and while people were enjoying their buffet courses, I was stroked by this sophisticated French-style dessert. The waiters and waitresses were hurriedly filling up glasses with colorful pastel macaroons. Although there are many cake shops either in my home country or the states that can offer this kind delicious cookie, I would love to make it myself so that I can control the sweet as well as the flavor. Almond, matcha, and powdered peony petals are my favorites thus I used these ingredients to make my macaroons. A detailed recipe can be found on the next page.
